The UK FAQ asks you to create an account, select the property/room, pay £100 reservation rent in England/Wales or reservation fee in Scotland, choose payment terms, provide an emergency contact and e-sign. It describes an offer within seven days and ten days to complete it. A separate published England/Wales cancellation document gives a three-day signing/refund window, so obtain written confirmation of the deadline for your actual offer. For check-in the FAQ requests photo ID, address and student evidence, any required visa, the signed agreement and cleared due payments.

The UK FAQ describes full upfront rent or four instalments. The standard instalment option needs an accepted UK guarantor; without one it quotes a 5% upfront fee on total accommodation charges. Its plan description starts with four weeks’ rent before commencement and a larger late-September second payment, while another FAQ answer refers to an early-August payment. For the ordinary four-instalment plan the UK FAQ requires a UK resident guarantor over 25 with a fixed address and HMRC tax residence, photo ID and recent utility/council-tax evidence.
