Student accommodation in the UAE

The UAE has rapidly become a major destination for international students. Dubai International Academic City alone hosts more than 25 university campuses, including branches of UK, US, and Australian universities. The student-housing market is dominated by furnished studios and serviced apartments, since long-term leases of a year or more are standard practice. Bills are usually charged separately under UAE utility regulations, but some student-specific residences bundle bills into the monthly rent for clarity.
