A completed, countersigned booking is binding. Ordinarily you must find an acceptable replacement; Student Castle may help but does not guarantee one, and may refuse a takeover with fewer than 12 weeks remaining. Any refund, less the applicable non-refundable amount, follows the replacement signing, paying and moving in. The dedicated policy allows visa refusal only when the booking starts within 30 days of the visa decision, with rejection evidence within 48 hours. Failed qualification/university-entry evidence must also arrive within 48 hours. Accepted cases return advance rent. A documented university medical release may qualify under the ANUK process, subject to assessment. The English section says its accredited PBSA remains fixed-term; leaving does not itself remove rent liability. Pay on the instalment dates in your agreement and Student Portal. The FAQ also allows one advance payment without a guarantor, on the agreed due date; it does not promise a universal instalment count. Debit and credit cards are accepted. If a student loan is delayed, the FAQ asks for a loan-company letter showing amount/payment dates and four weeks’ advance rent before moving in; arrange this with the team.

Instalments normally need a guarantor. UK and international guarantors are accepted, but they cannot be another student or a government body. They must sign and provide ID/address evidence. Without a suitable guarantor, full advance rent or an independently approved Housing Hand arrangement may be possible; the service has its own eligibility and charges.
