Student Castle asks for advance rent at booking, with the amount set by the building. This is not confirmation of a separate damage deposit. The FAQ’s missed-acceptance wording says advance rent may be forfeited; clarify the applicable amount in the actual offer.

Book on Student Castle’s website, choose a room and pay the building-specific advance rent. The FAQ gives ten days to accept the offer, e-sign and upload documents; for bookings made within 14 days of the start, this may be shortened to 48 hours before commencement. A completed, countersigned booking is binding. Ordinarily you must find an acceptable replacement; Student Castle may help but does not guarantee one, and may refuse a takeover with fewer than 12 weeks remaining.
