The April 2026 policy gives no cooling-off period after both parties sign. Post-move-in rules depend on the agreement: an Assured Periodic Tenancy can use at least two calendar months’ written notice ending with a rent period; this generally covers pre-1-May-2026 contracts and Welton Road unless notified otherwise. Other post-1-May Common Law Tenancies allow four weeks’ evidenced notice for withdrawal, exclusion or agreed illness suspension over 60 days.
