UniLodge accepts individual and small-group applications online, in person, by phone, email, app, educational agent or another approved method. The property team reviews eligibility, then sends a Letter of Offer setting the payments and steps required to secure the room. Published website rates and requested room types are not binding until confirmed in that Letter. Applicants under 18 need parent or guardian consent and may book only approved properties; international students aged 17 at move-in also need university or college permission.

Only named eligible buildings qualify. Before the lease starts, email the property within 24 hours of the Home Affairs refusal and attach the refusal. Post-start release is considered by the property manager.

Cancellation must be requested in writing to the relevant reservations team. The applicable Letter of Offer, property cancellation policy, signed tenancy and state or national residential-tenancy law determine the penalty. Once a lease is signed it normally remains binding for its full term. UniLodge publishes different rules for named properties and jurisdictions, including typical penalties of one to four weeks’ rent for some Brisbane properties and case-by-case forfeiture of advance rent or bond for some strata buildings; no single fee applies to every property.
