Scape is primarily for students at recognised Australian universities, colleges or pathway providers, with eligibility varying by property or accommodation type. Choose a property, room and contract length and complete the booking online. Before arrival, the resident generally provides a Confirmation of Enrolment, valid photo ID and any additional documents requested in the Resident Portal, then electronically signs the Residential Agreement. Under-18 bookings are limited to selected Next Gen properties and can require parent or guardian forms.
Scape describes a refundable bond lodged with the relevant state authority. Around ten days before the contract starts, the resident is invited to pay it through the Resident Portal. It is returned after move-out under local tenancy rules if the room is clean, there is no damage beyond fair wear and tear, and rent and other charges are paid. The general FAQ does not publish one amount for every building. Short Stays can have a separate refundable security deposit.
Residential rent is paid in instalments set out in the signed agreement and shown in the Resident Portal.
